Mark P. Norris is a well known Alberta businessman with extensive experience in both the private sector and government. He served as Alberta's Minister of Economic Development from 2001 to 2004. During his tenure he initiated numerous programs to foster the province's economic growth. Mr. Norris joined the Wescorp Energy board in March 2007.

Scott Shemwell

Scott Shemwell brings over 25 years of experience leading turnaround and transformation processes for global S&P 500 organizations as well as start-up and professional service firms. Mr. Shemwell's unique background and expertise in oil field management make him highly qualified to guide oil and gas companies in creating economical and efficient oil fields of the future. More>>

Board of Directors

John Anderson has served as a director since October 4, 2001, and has served as Wescorp Energy's secretary and treasurer since April 24, 2003. He was the company's president and CEO from March 31, 2003 until Mr. Biles' appointment on May 28, 2004. He has over 18 years' experience in financial consulting, investor relations, and real estate management positions.

Alfred Comeau, a Wescorp Energy director since March 2003, is a petroleum engineer with over 35 years of experience. He currently serves as a consultant to several engineering firms.

Terry Mereniuk has been Chief Financial Officer of Westcorp Energy Inc. since March 2003. He is a chartered accountant and certified management consultant with over 15 years of experience in finance, financial structuring, taxation and internal and external reporting.

Robert M. Nicolay, vice president of New Development for Pengrowth Energy Trust, is a highly respected energy industry executive with a proven track record of success, leadership and community involvement over the past 27 years. Mr. Nicolay has been a Wescorp Energy director since May 2006.
