The Industrial Revolution 2.0 occurred at the beginning of the 20th century. This industrial revolution is marked by the discovery of electricity. Muscle energy which was replaced by a steam engine, slowly began to be replaced again by electric power. Even so, there are still obstacles that hamper the production process in the factory, namely transportation problems. In the late 1800s, cars began to be mass produced. The revolution occurred with the creation of the “Production Line” or Assembly Line that used the Conveyor Belt in the end of the 19th Century. Car assemblers are trained to become specialists who only take care of one part. In addition, the car assemblers have also done their work with the help of tools that use electric power which is much easier and cheaper than steam power.
This second industrial revolution also had an impact on military conditions in World War 2. Thousands of tanks, planes and weapons were created from factories that used production lines and conveyor belts. This can occur because of mass production (mass production). After the second industrial revolution, humans still play a very important role in the production process of various types of goods.
