The quality of education being delivered varies across private and public schools. Among the several amendments, the House will consider cutting school district’s tax rates even more, increasing funding for special education students, restoring a special pot of money set aside for gifted and talented programs, establishing a school safety allotment in the formulas, and automatically adjusting for inflation each year the base amount of money school districts get per student.
